Service Description

Delivered by The Australian Driving Institute, Youth Offroad is designed to develop preventative 4WD foundation skills and driver safety awareness for young 4WD operators. Our experienced Instructors foster an enjoyable, informative and supportive training environment for young drivers to develop their knowledge and skill in the operation of a 4WD. This program is most suitable for young drivers with limited off road driving experience but are looking to increase their awareness of operational skills. This program consists of both theory and practical components. Learning Outcomes: Understand the importance of driving a 4WD vehicle safely Know the hazards and risks associated with driving a 4WD vehicle in remote and off road conditions. The ability to apply safe driving methods in accordance with Worlds Best Practice and Australian Road Law. Mindset and attitude of safe 4WD operation Vehicle preparation POWERS Check - pre departure check Seating, steering, mirrors Driving to conditions, speed limits Low ground clearance, high centre of gravity Correct gears, load shift Tyre change - demonstration 4WD operations Engaging 4WD, Rough terrain, ascending and descending, sand and mud (when conditions allow), emergency procedures, environment and sustainability

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy • Outside 7 Business days – No charge to client • Inside 7 Business days – 50% of the total course investment to be charged to the client • Inside 3 Business days – 100% of the total course investment to be charged to the client • Should any travel have been booked, any fee that ADI occurs for cancellation is to be charged on to the Client
